I think this is a nice fantasy. In a pratical sense, it is crap. The first stage is 100 times slower than the second, while is has at least 100*100*100 atoms in it, meaning it would need at least 1M times faster production. How old are you kid? 12?

I hate to rain on your parades guys, but I see this as the way the world ends, we are in world war 12, we are producing armor, guns, ammo, gasses- maybe even certain types of flesh eating bacteria.

imagine making all of those things at the same time as well as the soldier that uses them.

there is no doubt in my mind that there will be somebody willing to make another Human Being using this technology, but hey, thats just 1 possibility out of the infinity that is the future.

    Ps. Instant Cake!

There is so much the masses (we) don’t know that’s already been discovered. Changes are happening at a faster pace. God help the children of the world.

  5. nanofactory

yeah maybe, but on a mass understood basis, this is a long way away.

  6. Nanofacs

Are you joking? It’s like 10 to 20 years away, tops.

  7. Nanofacs

this is hundreds maybe thousands of years away from todays current technology

This is as close to magic as man can come. It is in my opinion , essentially Alchemy. Creating ANYTHING from NOTHING! Total control over matter. Unfortunately the possibilities for evil are Ginormous. Uncontrollable Robotic Self replication is a serious concern to.

It’s phenomenal that ab initio calculations have now progressed sufficiently far that battery life for an imaginary product can be calculated. Perhaps when you can produce even one of the components in your nanofactory I’ll begin to take you seriously.
